Internet banking:

 Requirement - Use of PC and a browser to get connected to bank's website.

 Can avail the available bank services.

 No human operator is involved.

 Considering the rise in internet banking users, RBI has issued guidelines related to security and
legal issues like

 Ensure the use of security policies (use of public key infrastructure, PKI).

 At least 128 bit SSL is required.

 Regarding liability to customers on account of breach of secrecy of denial of service

caused by attacks.

 Approval needed from RBI before giving any services.

CERT-In:

 Indian Computer Emergency Response Team

 Was established in 2003.

 Is a part of international CERT community.

 Motive - respond to computer security incidents reported by the entire computer and
networking community in the country.

 Has the responsibility to enhance cyber security.
