2. Program Installation
NOTE : DO NOT ATTACH THE A/D CARD OR CABLE TO THE COMPUTER BEFORE INSTALLING THE
DRIVER AND THE SOFTWARE
2.2.1. Insert the installation disc into the CD/DVD-ROM drive. For flash drive, insert the installation flash drive into the
USB port. If the window does not work in automatic run mode please open the CD/DVD-ROM and double-click on
USB_driver.exe
2.2.3.1 Plug the USB cable on PC. Ignore the failure of driver installation by Windows.

2.2.3.3 Click the Start menu button.
2.2.3.4 Right-click My Computer on the Start menu and then click Properties or Manage from the pop-up menu to
open the Device Manager.

2.2.4. The Device Manager will open and display the Arduino Device that you have connected (the name of device
depends on the board which is connected.)
2.2.6. The Update Driver Software dialog box will pop up. Click “Browse my computer for driver software” to install
Driver Software Manually. Next, click the Browse button.

2.2.7. Navigate to the Drivers folder in the CD/DVD or flash drive folder.
2.2.8. After selecting the driver folder, click the Next button.
2.2.9. In the pop up dialog, click “Install this driver software anyway”, to continue the Arduino Board Drivers.

2.2.10. Shortly, the driver installation will finish. Take note of the port number which the Arduino was configured in. For
example, this case is COM3. When the driver is completely installed, click on "Close" button.
2.2.11. On the CD/DVD-ROM or USB Driver explorer, double-click on “setup.exe” as show in Figure 2-1. Please wait
while the installer initializes.

2.2.12. The program will install in default directory. (Recommend to use the default directory for convenience) Then,
click the “Next” button to continue.
