INTRODUCTION

One class of virus is the coronavirus. There are numerous varieties, and some of them are
disease-causing. (According to the World Health Organization). A respiratory ailment pandemic
known as COVID-19 was brought on by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which was discovered in
2019. The virus first appeared in Wuhan, China, on a small scale in November 2019. The first
significant cluster then appeared in December 2019. Not everyone is impacted by COVID-19 in
the same manner. Once dismissed as merely a respiratory condition, the illness is now
recognized as much for the wide range of potentially dangerous effects it has on the body as for
the characteristic pneumonia it frequently causes.

Things seemed challenging when the coronavirus forced schools to close and mandated
online learning for the remainder of the academic year. Suddenly, a new system of education had
to be learned by parents, pupils, and teachers alike. But despite the initial pain, there are other
advantages to distance learning that go far beyond virus defense. Education-related problems
have gotten worse in the Philippines as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of
Education (DepEd) has employed blended learning programs in addition to distance learning
techniques to address them. These consist of printed materials, online courses, TV and social
media teachings, and printouts. Although many students and teachers choose in-person learning,
they must adjust to online learning as a substitute for traditional learning. As long as schools are
close-knit, online courses will continue. Some of these new educational tools, meanwhile,
require internet access.

Accessibility of time and place online lectures can also be captured, preserved, and
distributed for later purpose. This has made it possible for students to access the course materials
whenever it is convenient for them. Online education provides students with the convenience of
time and location in learning. The most frequent issues were that students found it challenging to
interact with teachers and other students online, which made online learning more difficult than
face-to-face learning. On the other hand, parents encounter a number of difficulties with distance
learning, including the virtual environment, the way that instruction is delivered, the quality of
the learning outcomes, issues with the use and accessibility of technology, personal issues with
their child's health, stress, and learning style, as well as financial difficulties.
