GRAMMAR – Prepositions of time

ON We use ON with days of the week, dates (4th July), special days (my
birthday)

IN We use IN with parts of the day (the morning, the afternoon),


months (January, February, etc.), seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter), years (2012,
2016, etc).

AT We use AT with clock times, meals, festivals and the weekend.
