ZUMBA FOR A CAUSE

The zumba for a cause is the main fund raising activity of the parent teachers association.
The objective of this is to accumulate funds for this year’s activity. Through the help of the
general pta officers, they solicit funds from the local government and the private people around
iba. The funds were used in generating tickets and the preparation for the event. The ticket was
given to the sections and teachers of iba national high school.

The event started 4 in the afternoon. Marie Mallari opened the event for being the Master
of Ceremony. The program started with the National Anthem followed by a prayer by Jonathan
Santos. Benjamin Lizarondo, head teacher III in mathematics, welcomed the guest by giving a
meaningful opening remark. Adam Bill Carpio formally introduced the judges and zumba
instructors.

The end of the opening program started the zumba marathon which was attended by more
than 200 people from the different places and students from our school. They had the chance to
show their moves by copying the steps from the zumba instructors.
 After the zumba marathon, 10 groups showed their skills in dancing. Every group amazed
the judges by their creativity and dedication to win the competiton. The instructors were worn
out after the competition because of the eagerness of the participants. The energetic groups
presented their best moves and lastly the sexylicious won the award.

And lastly, the event ended by giving the certificates and award to the winners and it was
followed by the closing remarks by the PTA President.
