What is your favourite application to use and value addition it does to your

lifestyle?
Inshorts: Inshorts is a news reading application which helps users to read latest news across various
verticals and domains in a summarized form. It gives a 60-word summary of a news or an article
which gives an overall view of the topic. The user can also go through the complete topic if he wants
to read in depth about the same by just swiping right side of the page. The application not only pertain
to local or national news, but also covers international areas. It is available in both Hindi and English,
thus giving better insights according to the preferrable language. It also has an option of customizing
the settings by choosing the domains on which we want frequent news. This application brings in a lot
of value addition in my life by giving me crisp and unbiased knowledge about the various happenings
around me, specially during the time when reading long articles is not feasible but at the same time
very important.

What is your favourite website and what role does it play in your day-to-day
life?
Coursera.org: Coursera is one of the best websites that I have come across as a student who wants
to continuously improve his/her learning and understanding of various topics. It includes courses
varying from all domains and for all levels of learners. Although the site offers the premium (paid)
version for doing courses, financial aids are also available for students who can not afford to pay for
their courses. The certificates obtained after completing comprehensive and rigorous courses also
have a high credibility. Certain premium institutes like Yale, Michigan, Stanford, etc offers their
valuable learnings through courses here. Also, peer to peer learning models and teaching of practical
applications of the same helps me to get the holistic overview of a topic.

What is your favourite series (book/tv) and what are the major learnings from
it?
Suits: The American drama show “Suits” has been one of my favourite tv shows since the day I
started watching it. It revolves around a law firm based in America and shows its day-to-day
workings. The show as a whole not just gives the hint of corporate culture but also teaches several
things through the situations and character development. One of the major learning I got through this
show was to never give up. No matter how difficult a situation gets, there is always another way
around to solve it. Also, the kind of confidence depicted by the characters like Harvey Spectre and
Jessica Pearson inspires me a lot. Their workings also reveal the importance of being thorough and
doing your research at all cost. If you don’t, someone else will make unwanted advantage of it
because there’s no way you can figure out what a person’s like or figure out how to get to him if you
haven’t researched every single bit of information about that person. It shows that if you want to go
out in the world and succeed, you first need to work hard towards it. Also, despite having opposing
views and almost always fighting, they tend to have each other’s back no matter what the situation is.
