Yoel Roth
Former Global Head of Trust & Safety of Twitter
Transmitted Electronically

Dear Mr. Roth:

On December 6, 2022, I wrote to you requesting your appearance at a Committee hearing

during the 118th Congress. Your attendance is necessary because of your role in suppressing
Americans’ access to information about the Biden family on Twitter shortly before the 2020
election. Neither you nor your representative responded to my previous request. This letter
reiterates the Committee’s request and—for your convenience in planning travel—informs you
of the hearing date, which will be the week of February 6.
To confirm your appearance at the hearing, please contact Committee on Oversight and
Accountability staff at (202) 225-5074 by January 18.
The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of
the U.S. House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any
time” under House Rule X. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this inquiry.

Sincerely,
