Dear E,

Hi! It’s been a year since our last interaction. I just want you to know that I love
you enough to show you what genuine love is, I love you enough to assist you with recollecting
what your identity is and that you are adored. Truly, really, profoundly adored I love you enough
to love you from a distance. Lagi mo akong tinatanong, “Why me?” and mas pinag-buti ko pa
dapat showing you how much of who you are means everything to me. So let me be clear with
you: I chose you because of the way you make me feel everything so passionately — good and
bad. Pinili kita because of how respectful you are and always make sure I’m comfortable. I
chose you because despite being emotionally closed off I can tell how much you care about me
in the things you do. I want to thank you for the experience that you’ve given to me and I want
you to know the tremendous amount of happiness you’ve given me in our time together. Thank
you for welcoming me into your family and teaching me how to escape the ordinary. I’ve always
been afraid of new beginnings, but I was never afraid of falling for you. I guess this is the end of
my letter; wherever you are, I hope na maging masaya ka and don’t get tired chasing your
dreams.
