Supply chain procurement is the managing of internal procedures, such as

the addition of new suppliers and checking for compliance. Supplier

interactions are an important part of a function in supply chain and
procurement. According to Ben Bernardo, the lecturer it is necessary to
confirm that suppliers are satisfied while also keeping their word on cost and
delivery. The processes of sourcing, acquiring, and paying for goods and
services are all included in procurement. Supply chain management also
includes the logistics involved in acquiring items, such as shipment and
logistics, as well as the process of turning the acquired goods into
commodities and dispersing them to purchasers.

In his discussion there are things that need to be considered in having a

good production process. And it includes good decision making, planning for
the whole process, and having an accurate output on the basis of the
planning. Nonetheless logistics is a movement of everything and everyone in
a certain area. It means, logistics has a broad scope such as storage,
distribution of foods, movement of people, accuracy of time for delivery of
items and better management system. Those factors are defined by the
lecturer and it is important to understand. In his discussion it also
emphasizes the maximization of profit with a good service quality and low
overhead cost. And that's where the decision making and planning process
comes in, since it is important to think critically about it and plan
accordingly. Any firm can better protect itself from the uncertainty by
developing an efficient decision-making process. Numerous firms trust the
supply chain management experts within their organizations to build and
execute decision-making procedures that will keep the business ahead of the
competition in a constantly shifting environment. Every item or raw
materials that we purchase ,make sure that all of them are necessary and
applicable for a certain thing that involves supply chain management. As per
his lecture it is also necessary to have an employee's interaction such as
motivation and create something for them to be productive and efficient on
their given task that will possibly result in better and quality service.

There is a comparison between a well designed kitchen and Badly designed

kitchen. As part of the logistics process it is crucial for the top management
to select the best designed for the sake of the employee, firm and also the
purchaser. It is obvious that a well designed kitchen will be the best since it
is organized and safe for those employees that are working in that area. A
well designed kitchen makes the workspace easy to use and avoids
unnecessary disruptions. A commercial kitchen with good design will be
productive, secure, and comfortable. It will support fostering peace in the
environment. Less procedures will be required for kitchen personnel to finish
a task. With careful design, it will be more profitable than it is currently and
costly possible improvements towards the building or equipment will be
avoided. The system will be adaptable enough to support management or
even menu adjustments. This will stop time from becoming lost while
employees attempt to perform a task. In order to ensure that the firm can
manage uncertainties and risks as well as seize the opportunity to achieve
progress, it is important for the industry in the sector to make the
appropriate and sensible strategic decision and better planning management
in all of the logistics activity.
