When it comes to any kind of connection, it is essential to be communicative.

However, not all communication is good. I believe that the effectiveness of a
communication varies on a person you are communicating with.
For instance, Ryvan and I have been friends for four years already. We actually
would bicker a lot for the smallest things. Matter of fact, there is one incident in which
we bickered about a reality show. It was about the fifth season of Rupaul's Drag Race:
All Stars. We had a little debate over who would win the show. We supported
different drag queens. I recall us arguing for maybe 30 minutes. We began by
expressing our opinions on why we believed this queen would win. I carefully listened to
him as he expressed his ideas. I recall us maintaining eye contact during the talk. As
much as possible, I attempted to remain objective and tried to comprehend his views.
However, I was not quite convinced. I stated my ideas positively and conveyed my
critique succinctly. He, too, listened attentively to my views. We both tried to accept
each other's viewpoints, regardless of how fundamentally opposed it may be. We would
simply quarrel for the sake of entertainment.
We are both bold individuals. We are not scared to communicate our ideas to
one another. Both Ryvan and I are also open-minded, which is why, regardless of how
much we argue, we always end up agreeing and making a unified choice. That, I feel, is
because Ryvan and I communicate effectively. That is what strengthens our connection.
Regardless of how unlike we are in some areas of life, we have learnt to accept and
respect one another.
