transport in Cambridge in 2008 and 2018. Overall, at the beginning of the period, walking contributed the least to the whole means of transport, while cars was the most significant vehicle in Cambridge. In comparison, at the end of the period, bicycle became the largest segment and the lowesr contribution was made by cars. In 2008, only one in ten population in Cambridge travelled by foot , and experienced a more than twofold stood at a quarter in 2018. Similarly, proportion of citizen who cycling accounted for one fith in 2008. However, this increased dramatically to morethan a third in 2018. Thus, cycling and walking accounted for 55% means of transport in 2018, collectively. In stark contrast, people travelled by cars and busses comprised 42% and 30% respectively in 2008. During 2018, the rate of citizen using cars had been witnessed a considerable reduction of a half(20%). Likewise, busses also expereinced slight drop of 5% at the end of the period which stood at 25%.
