TITLE OF LEARNING EXPERIENCE /CHAPTER: Probability

Subtopics for the week: Conditional Probability, Multiplication Theorem of Probability,


Indipendent Events, Total probability Theorem, Baye's Theorem, Randam Variables,
Probability distributions and Mean.

Concepts involved: Principle of Counting, Permutations and Combinations, Random


Experiments, Sample Space, Events, Definition of Probability, Mutually Exclusive
Events, Mutually Exhaustive events, Partitions of Sample Space, Graphs, Distribution
table, sets.

STEPS IN METHOD OF TEACHING:

A. STARTER:
 ASSESSING PREREQUISITE PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF STUDENT through
 Questions /Experiment /Activity to Test Prerequisite Knowledge: -

Experiment: 1) Basics principles of Counting: Different licence plates making using letters and numbers.

2)R.E, Sample Space, Events etc.: Rolling a dice.

Set of questions is provided to make them practice.

B. CORE TEACHING: DEALING CURRENT CONCEPT.

I) External Observation: Current concept teaching Using Weather forecast problem.
II) To develop the Critical thinking for problem solving and design the solution in probability
students will make a set of questions from each new concept taught in the class and share it with
the other students to solve these.
