Advantages of Online Learning

What is online learning? : Online learning is a teaching and learning process that utilizes the
internet and digital media in the delivery of material. The online learning method is considered
closer to the current generation of learners who are better known to be very integrated with
technological products.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic entered our country, the Indonesian government has taken various
policies including in terms of education. To avoid the transmission of the virus since early 2020,
the government has stipulated the implementation of online learning from home. Of course,
there are advantages and disadvantages of online learning for students.

Online learning is done via zoom or video call which certainly requires a good and stable internet
connection. For those who live in urban areas with internet networks that are already available
and other supporting facilities, the online learning system can indeed be done without
significant problems. But what about students who are in the 3T area which is a disadvantaged,
frontier and outermost area in Indonesia? Therefore, it is necessary to discuss what are the
