effective frameworks to lead a project team.
Program prerequisites: A minimum of a bachelor's degree and about one year of prior project management
experience is recommended.
05
Program Curriculum
This course is designed to deliver best-in-class specialized skills for technical project management focused not
solely on agile for software development but on a range of practical project management skills applicable in a
non-software environment. Your high-level learning outcomes for this program include:
Facilitating high performance across various project standards, methods, concepts, and architectures
(such as agile, stage-gate, waterfall, flow, spiral, and set-based)
Evaluating charters, creating plans, establishing teams, supporting ongoing progress, handling changes
and risks, and promoting and adapting to a high-performance culture
Employing advanced project management methods for planning, control, and adaptation
Orientation
The first module is an orientation module. You will have access to the learning platform from the program start
date. There is no teaching, but you can get comfortable navigating the site. Note: All teaching in this program
is prerecorded.

Assignments and Projects
ASSIGNMENTS
Apply project management methods and concepts from each module.
DEMONSTRATIONS
Follow video instruction for advanced PM methods, such as dependency structure modeling
(DSM) and agent-based modeling.
Experiential Projects
Throughout this program, you will create three separate projects: two mini capstones and a
final capstone project. The mini capstone projects are designed to help you apply the concepts
covered in each of the first two sections of the course. The final capstone project will help you
bring it all together to create a larger project that you can add to your professional portfolio.
08
INDUSTRY EXAMPLES
Throughout the program, you will explore case studies, such as an agile medical device development project
as well as PM methodologies applied to projects from the following organizations:
