The presence of Philippines in the China and US quarrel

The Philippine relationship between China and the United States is that it will benefit our country the
Philippines to improve and gain more political motives and ideas. The Philippines wanted to have an
equal relationship with both countries for their power. Having these two countries befriend our country
to gain more ideas and know what we can improve in our country. These three countries are focused
not only to have a good relationship with each other but to conquer dominance. However, to compare
the three countries on who has more power, the Philippines will be in the last place, we are under-
powerful than the two countries.

Having the least power between the United States and China, the Philippines laid low and supported
both countries. The Philippines couldn’t compete with the two most Imperialist countries in the world
because of what happened in the past administration which led to different outlooks and ideas that
have been formed with the United States and China. However, during Aquino’s administration,
President Aquino balanced and stayed friends with China because of the West Philippine Sea. On the
other hand having the Philippines stayed closer to China, the relationship between the Philippines and
the United States made a promise of support in the event of a Chinese invasion, against the United
States. However, Duterte’s administration took over, and instead of having a good relationship with
China, they are now using us and making us look like a puppet meanwhile, the relationship between the
Philippines and Unites states had good ties because it intensified its measures toward the United States
in response to Chinese demands. With that, the Philippines is having a hard time being consistent in
having a good relationship with both countries.

With the two past administrations making strong bonds with our country, we still need to be strong by
focusing on our country and being independent. There is nothing wrong with having a good relationship
with them as long as we remove their threats to our country, China had threatened us with military
forces, and the United States threatened us by using capitalism to dominate us. The best way to have a
good relationship with them is just to learn new ideas and maintain them. Since these two countries
wanted to dominate us with military forces and capitalism, United Nations should join this topic so that
it can help us resolve the problem by not ruling and sending out military forces but by giving sanctions
and spreading peace and love.
