Queen Elizabeth was born in London on 21st April 1926.

She's the Britain's longest monarch who reign for 70 years.


When she was 14, she made one of her most famous broadcasts,
trying to reassure children who had been evacuated from their
houses and families.

She was the first child of George Windsor and Elizabeth Bowes-
Lyon.
In 1930 she became sister, when princess Margaret Rose was born
She spent her early years at the London home of her parents, at
White Lodge and also at the country house of her grandparents
(king George V and Queen Mary).

In 1936 George V died.


His eldest son, Edward VIII, came to the throne, but he decided to
give up it to marry the woman he loved.
Then, Elizabeth's father became king.

Elizabeth met Philip at 13 years old.


On 20th november 1947 they got married at Westminister Abbey.
They also had four children:
Charles, Ann, Andrew and Edward.

On 6th february 1952, after her father's death, she recived her own
accession to the throne.
On 2nd june 1953, she was crowned queen in Westminister
Abbey.
In june 2022, she celebrated 70 years on the british throne.

Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle on 8th september


2022.
The death was communicated by the prime minister of the UK
with the phrase "LONDON BRIDGE IS DOWN".
On 9th september Charles delivered his first speech to the nation.

The day after he was proclaimed king in a cerimony in London.

The coffin travelled from Balmoral to Edinburgh and arrived at


Holyrood House.
Passing through Aberdeenshire, the queen recived an agricultural
tribute where tractors lined up in fields on either side of the route.

Then, Elizabeth was taken to Buckingham palace.

The coffin left Buckingham Palace on a horse-drawn gun carriage.


The coffin was draped with the Imperial State Crown and a wreath
of white flowers.
During the service, Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury,
said a prayer.

The Queen was lying in state in Westminister Hall.


The coffin spent four days in Westminister Hall before the state
funeral.
When the lying in state ended, the coffin was token in procession
to Westminister Abbey.

The state funeral was held at Westminister Abbey where two-


minute national silence was held at its end.
The queen's coffin travelled in a procession to Wellington Arch.
After the procession a committal service, with a small
congregation took place at St. George's Chapel.
The queen was buried later at a private family service.

Now she can rest in peace.
