Comparatives
Look at these sentences. They include to be + comparative + than

Small cars are slower than big cars.

Sky-diving is more dangerous


than football.

Superlatives
Superlatives identify the ‘highest’ or ‘lowest’ in a group, for example:

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest tower in


the UAE.

The most boring subject is maths.
