HOW DOES THE INTERNET HELP SECONDARY SCHOOL

STUDENTS IN LEARNING?
Good morning ladies and gentlemen!
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Phan Nguyen Dan
Linh. I’m a student in class 9/3 at Kim Dong secondary school. First of
all, let me send to all of you guys my best wishes for health, weath and
happiness. Good luck and success to you and our contest. I’m delighted to
be in the presence of our class to attend the Olympiad of Talents in
English contest today.
As we know, the Internet, at present, becomes an inportant part of our
everyday life. Almost every aspect of life, is concerned with the Internet,
especially in developed countries. I’m here today to bring to you guys a
very interesting topic: HOW DOES THE INTERNET HELP
SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN LEARNING?
For me, the Internet is a wonderful invention of modern life. It makes our
world a small village. The Internet is a very fast and convenient way for
me to get information. The intermet is used very widely.
It helps us to find information quickly and accurately we can exchange
and study with foreigners. It helps you save a lot of time, easily
communicates with teachers online when you have questions to answer.
After stressful school hours, we can entertain with online games.
I am learning how to play guitar through a Youtube channel and it's so
convenient for me instead going to the guitar classes. There are not only
many skills such as communication skill, teamwork skill, play piano,
skateboarding and so on but also we can find a lot of books, note,
magazin which help us to wide our knowledge.
On the Internet, we can come across many videos, articles sharing about
the learning process and achievements of successful people, effective
study tips that motivate us, make us feel that we also have can do like
them and will work harder, helping us to get rid of negativity and
procrastination and improve learning.
The most special and I think the most useful today is online learning. We
had to live with Covid-19, despite the complicated epidemic, we can
continue to study with our teachers thanks to the Internet.
You know, the covic epidemic caused a lot of damage to people and their
properties all over the world, it is thanks to the Internet that is the most
modern means of information that can bring people the latest news, so
that we only know how to prevent and reduce that damage. We are really
grateful for that most mordern means, which is the Internet.
We used the internet for many purposes education, communication,
entertainment and commerce. However, the Internet has limitation. So we
need to know how to use the internet properly to get the best results. We
should choose good and useful information. Not spend too much time and
money playing games. Not see bad programs. Moreover, the internet
users sometimes have to suffer various risks such as spam or electronic
junk mail, and personal information leaking. So while enjoying surfing,
be alert!
