ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
September 2021- May 2022
I. Introduction
The Department of Education wants to nurture Young Filipino children to become future leaders
of our society. One of the ways to develop their leadership skills and abilities is by joining the
Supreme Pupil Government. This organization will help them acquire and learn skills to be able to
adapt to daily situations and lead others when the need arises. Children will be able to learn their
roles, duties, rights, and responsibilities as a human and citizen of the country.
Supreme Pupil Government is a force that will help the teachers in upholding the Vision and
Mission of the Department of Education in the school. The organization shall be one of the pillars
in helping school programs. And at the same time, children are trained to be responsible. They
will develop and live the core values Makabayan, Makatao, Maka Diyos at Makabansa.
Since we are facing the worldwide pandemic which is Covid” 19, the pupils are staying at home.
There are no face-to-face classes but instead they have their self-learning modules (SLMs).
However, the SPG did not stop extending their effort in implementing different activities.
The SPG Adviser thought of some activities that can help pupils even with the challenge of Covid
19.
II. Objectives
a. To lead the pupils in some activities in school and in community through leadership training
webinars and activities
b. Put up projects such as tree planting and relief drive

MEANS OF VERIFICATION (MOVs)

Short narrative: Due to the limitations imposed by the Covid 19 Pandemic, the SPG
Adviser, Mrs. Annabelle A. Forro decided to conduct the SPG Officers election via
messenger. The election was successful and they officially elected their SPG Officers.

Short narrative: The love of nature should be instilled in every child’s mind. The SPG
officers took the initiative to encourage the pupils of Matlong Elementary School to
participate in the Tree Planting at Home Movement. Through the cooperation of the pupils
and their parents, the activity was successful.

Short Narrative: As an elementary school, the MES aims to highly promote the
consumption of vegetable and fruits. In order to actualize that goal, the Supreme Pupil
Government implemented the Vegetable Gardening at Home.

Short Narrative: The SPG decided to take the Tree Planting Movement to a higher level. The
Pupils along with the Teachers and being assisted by the Military and BPAT trekked the
land of Matlong in order to convey their love of the mother nature. The involved persons
enjoyed the journey and were happy of being able to help in preserving the environment.

Short Narrative: The SPG of Matlong Elementary School was devastated upon knowing the
damage suffered by our kababayan in Lake Sebu due to the flooding. To help the victims of
the flooding, the SPG help a small relief operation with the help of the teachers and
parents.

Short Narrative: SPG Teachers were on the move also to promote the love for our mother earth.
As the role models of the SPG officers, the SPG advisers decided to do their own part and
participated in another Tree Planting Movement.

Short Narrative: The pandemic affected many families. It gave us challenges we thought we
will never overcome. As concerned citizens of the Philippines who have love for their
fellowmen, the SPG implemented an outreach program with the aim of helping those
families who are much in need of assistance.

Narrative: To help the school in preparation for an accreditation, the SPG offered their
helping hands in the beautification of the school. They voluntarily painted the flower boxes
of the classrooms. This action helped the teachers of the said school.
