CFC SINGLES FOR CHRIST
CORPORATE

OVERVIEW

A community is a small or large social unit (a group of people) who have something in
common. A corporate institution is a community in and of itself. It is a community with a common
goal; whether it is to market a product, offer services, improve the quality of life, or help develop
a better society by educating its people. However, the aim of CFC Singles for Christ is to not only
develop a better society, but a renewal of society.

Singles for Christ has been very pro-active in coming up of ways to evangelize single men
and women from different walks of life; creating different programs, Family Evangelization, SFC
Plus, and many more. SFC Corporate is a program that answers to another need for evangelization.
True to Jesus’ commission to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…” (Mt. 28:19), true
to our vision, “Every single man and woman all over the world experiencing Christ,” and true to
our covenant, “I will work toward the evangelization and transformation of my work place…”, SFC
continually responds to the call of mission as it goes into the campuses, offices, and institutions to
continue the work of evangelization. SFC goes to where the singles are.

OBJECTIVES

1. To continue CFC-SFC's mission of evangelization to the singles in campuses, corporate,

and government institutions.
2. To serve as a start-up guide for the SFC areas as they start SFC Corporate in their
respective areas.

THE DREAM

We dream of a society very different from what it is today. People believe that this is
impossible and yet we continue to pray hard and reach for this dream. We dream of a day when
husbands will be faithful to their wives. Fathers will protect instead of abuse their children.
Doctors will preserve life, instead of abort it. Governments will serve its people, instead of exploit
it. There will be less crime because businessmen will not push their employees into the kind of
poverty that breeds crime.

We believe in this dream, which began in the YFC Campus Based Program, can be realized
through our continued work of evangelization in the corporate. We firmly hold on to the hope
that if we instill Christian virtue in the hearts and minds of lawyers, doctors, businessmen,
professionals, BPO employees, government leaders, public servants, and educators they can serve
as beacons of light in the world. The world might be a better place if more professionals live in
the light of Christ. We believe that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this dream can become
a reality.

IMPORTANT STRATEGIES TO SUSTAIN A START-UP CORPORATE GROUP

1. Relationship is the key. Build relationship with identified SFC members in the
company/campus. The Province/Sector/National Corporate Program
Coordinator can schedule one to ones, hangouts, and dialogues with them,
especially to potential leaders.
2. Set regular assemblies. Regular gatherings where SFC members can gather for
worship and sharing.
3. If necessary, seek for office approval, recognition, or accreditation that will
help to conduct activities inside the office or campus with ease and efficiency.
4. Conduct a Christian Life Program (CLP).

B. ENRICHMENT PHASE

The Enrichment phase is the second phase of the SFC Corporate structure. In this
level, the SFC group has already conducted their first Christian Life Program. At this point,
they are able to regularly conduct prayer assemblies, teaching, and households. This
phase aims to enrich their members spiritual journey in the ministry through these
activities.

In this phase, there should be four (4) to seven (7) members in one household. A
unit is composed of three (3) to five (5) households. The Unit level will have at least three
(3) households and a maximum of ten (10) solid households. The corporate group will be
integrated to an SFC Cluster, and both the brother and the sister Unit heads will attend
their upper household with the SFC Cluster Couple Coordinator.

For Campuses:

If a set of officers is needed for campus recognition the brother Unit Head will be
the President, and the sister Unit Head will become the Senior Sister of the Campus. They
will serve as counterparts in service. The Household heads will be assigned as campus
officers, and their designations will be as Vice Presidents. The assignment of household
heads and officers will come from the discernment of the Unit heads and the SFC
Sector/Provincial/National Corporate Program Coordinator.

Campus Officers:
• President
• Senior Sister
• Vice-President for Documentation
• Vice- President for Finance
• Vice-President for Evangelization
• Vice-President for Special Projects

solid households, or three (3) Units, and sixty (60) active members. Households are
consistent and the group is regularly conducting prayer assemblies, teachings and
fellowships. There is also a strong consistency of attendance of members in the said
activities.

The Chapter Leaders will continue to attend the Cluster Household as their upper
household together with the other Chapter leaders.

THE REALITY OF SINGLES TODAY

The singles in this generation belong to a very diverse world where a lot of opportunities
and options are presented to them. In the fast-paced age of technology, constant acquisition of
knowledge and new learnings, the singles are faced with countless choices and day-to-day
decisions they have to make.

Being young professionals, the office is where they spend more than half of their time
every day. They are then greatly influenced by people and experiences they encounter in the
work place. It is also at their age that they take risks, grab many opportunities that come their
way. Thus, having the right foundation is crucial for these young professionals to become men
and women of virtue.

It is evident that these young professionals are no longer limited to making basic decisions
but complex ones, such as, choosing a career, which friends to hang out with, what vocation to
take, being excellent in the workplace, who and when to start courting, and many more. These
decisions greatly impact the single person not only in their professional life, but also their
character, and the direction of their life.

THE DREAM OF THE MINISTRY

We dream of a society very different from what it is today. People believe that this is
impossible and yet we continue to pray hard and reach for this dream. We dream of a day when
husbands will be faithful to their wives. Fathers will protect instead of abuse their children.
Doctors will preserve life, instead of abort it. Governments will serve its people, instead of exploit
it. There will be less crime because businessmen will not push their employees into the kind of
poverty that breeds crime.

We believe this dream which that started in the YFC Campus Based Program can be
realized, through our continued work of evangelization in the corporate. We firmly hold on to the
hope that if we instill Christian virtue in the hearts and minds of lawyers, doctors, businessmen,
professionals, BPO employees, government leaders, public servants, and educators they can serve
as beacons of light in the world. The world might be a better place if more professionals live in
the light of Christ. We believe that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this dream can become
a reality.

WHAT IS CFC SINGLES FOR CHRIST?

CFC-Singles for Christ is one of the family ministries of Couples for Christ (CFC). The ministry
was established in April 1993 to cater to the needs of single men and women from 21 to 40 years
of age.

“Single” refers to anyone within the said age group who is free from any legal impediments
to marriage. The pastoral care offered by the ministry, is not limited to those who are called for
marriage, but includes as well those who may be considering either single blessedness or religious
vocation as a state of life.

It is initially aimed to provide a Christian support environment for single men and women.
However, SFC has taken a more pro-active stance in providing that environment by ensuring that it
brings Christ to wherever the singles are – in the corporate setting, in campuses, in government
institutions, even in prison and in developing communities.

SFC also intends to be relevant in the various realities of a single person in the aspects of
Leadership, Lifestyle, Livelihood, and Love-life.

There are 65,000 members of Singles For Christ all over the world covering the different
regions namely Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Oceania.

VISION: Every single man and woman all over the world experiencing Christ.

Singles for Christ is the next generation of Couples for Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit
to journey and witness with single men and women in their discovery and pursuit of
vocations and the fullness of the mission towards building a Christ-centered society.

MISSION: Building the Church of the Home. Building the Church of the Poor.

In order to fully support and ensure the holistic and overall growth of the members, SFC has
developed Christ-centered activities for them. These activities are categorized into the following:
