SCOPE OF WORK, QUALITY, UNDERTAKING:

MSG undertakes to employ the services of the contractor for rubbish disposal, landscaping, compound
and drain cleaning and the latter to provide and deliver services as indicated in the scope of work
hereunder will meet MSG’s requirements.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday : 8.30am ~ 5.00pm


Friday only : 8.30am ~ 4.30pm
Saturday and Sunday : Off Day

Compound Cleaning, Landscaping, Drain cleaning and others

1. To keep clean all pathways and road in the MSG premises free from rubbish and glass cullet in
MSG compound.

2. The contractor must abide all road safety and traffic regulations of the company and the road
transport act of commercial vehicles.

3. Cutting of the grass on the ground, creepers on fence, drains and trimming of trees at the MSG
premises including all weeds areas but not limited to road kerbs and drains.

4. Trimming of plants and decorative scrubs. All trimmed and grass cutting to be swept and
bagged for disposal.

5. All cutting equipment such as grass cutting equipment, trimming and pruning shears for shrubs,
fuel, spare parts, pesticide, fertilizer, weed killer and other consumables shall be borne by the
contractor including safety equipment.

6. The contractor shall ensure at all times there are workers with one supervisor to ensure the
daily work is carried out as per instructions.

7. All drains should be cleaned weekly to ensure there is no water stagnation and the water flow
is smooth. All inlets, outlets and sink holes must be clog free.

8. Grafting and planting of grass or new plants shall be done on instructions by MSG person in
charge.

9. All cost for cutting tree in MSG premises including chain saw and labour shall be borne by
contractor. It shall be done at least 6 months once.

10. Contractor is fully responsible to provide complete PPE to their worker. All PPE must be renewed
in every 2 years. PPE must be wearing all the times in MSG plant.

11. All high-risk work must discuss with EHS before commencing work. Risk assessment must be
conducted and submitted together with permit. Contractor must all the time comply to other
MSG EHS Rules & Regulation.

12. Annual briefing attendance must be conducted, and proof of evidence must be submitted to
MSG.

13. Penalty shall apply to incompliance driver if get caught.

14. Monthly schedule shall be submitted at least 1 week before commencement of following month.
Monthly check sheet on work done must be submitted 3 days after end of current month.

Transport for Rubbish Disposal

1. The contractor shall supply a 10-ton lorry or equivalent, a driver and an attendant for the above
purpose for removal of rubbish which shall categorically mean household rubbish, waste cullet,
waste papers and wooden materials.

2. The rubbish from the designated bins in the company premise must be collected and those at
the rubbish yard be disposed daily at the gazetted disposal site arranged by the contractor.

3. All rules and regulations by the Local Authority must be followed at all times.

4. Any notice or information by the Local Authority on any prohibitions on waste disposal or
rubbish must be informed to the company the soonest possible.

5. Dumping of materials and rubbish shall be at legal site gazetted by the local authority. If the
contractor is found to violate the rules, the contractor is subjected to stern action imposed up
to the termination of the contract agreement.

6. The contractor will bear the cost of disposal at the gazetted rubbish dump should any violation
due to wrongful disposal found and the contractor shall bear the penalty fine.

7. The contractor must abide all road safety and traffic regulations of the company and the road
transport act of commercial vehicles.

8. NO SMOKING is allowed in the course of the work

Rubbish disposal herein refers to as the disposal of various types of rubbish generated in MSG to be
disposed at a legal disposal site.

MSG has the sole right to invite and seek alternative contractors if the Contractor is unable to provide
services as specified or due to circumstances beyond the Contractor’s control.
