➢ One of the importance of workplace diversity is Expand your talent pool. It means through your
employees with different background, skillsets and experiences they will allow to collaborate and
learned to each other and make them to be a balanced employee

B. In your perspective, is it possible for a sound collaboration to occur from a diverse set of employees?
➢ In order for a business to succeed, collaboration among employees is essential. In order to complete a
project, you need collaboration so that everyone is able to work together.

C. Based on Video 2, how does cross-cultural communications address workplace conflicts and diversity
barriers?
➢ Businesses behave differently in international markets with cross-cultural representations when they
are aware of cultural differences. To be competitive in international business, firms must develop skills
that will enable them to understand cultural differences. Cross-cultural communication barriers should
be eliminated by organizations. It is essential to understand cultural diversity in order to communicate
effectively across cultures.
D. Why is it beneficial to have cross-cultural communication in the tourism and hospitality workplace?
➢ Understanding cross-cultural communication and inclusion is necessary while keeping several things in
mind. Every individual needs to become aware of and understand their own cultural background and
biases. Many things we take for granted are impossible without this understanding. There will
undoubtedly be misunderstandings and misinterpretations as a result of this. Also, we need to cultivate
an open-mindedness towards other cultures. Businesses thrive and increase profits when they use
cross-cultural communication to increase productivity.
