Who is God?
God is the loving Creator who sustains everything. He is
eternal and unchanging in his goodness, wisdom and power.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The
earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep
waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of
the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there
was light. And God saw that the light was good...Then God
said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate
the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth...”
Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow
together into one place, so dry ground may appear...” And
God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the land
sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant,

There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and
some people actually worship many gods and many lords.
But for us, there is one God, the Father, by whom all things
were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord,
Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and

What is God Like?
How can we get to know what God is like in Himself?
