Introduction

RUM MARINE, LDA is an independent marine company that was established in

2016, under trading license Nr. 100698366 for the purpose of carrying out
independent marine, agric, dry cargo, petroleum, Oil cargo inspection, calibration,
testing services of mechanical equipment and electromechanical outfit.

We also supply and service various equipment and parts for air compressors,
generators, rock drilling, fluid power and accessories thereof.

Rum Marine Lda, works in partnership with our subsidiary company registered in 2012
in Zambia, New Clue Trading.

In Mozambique we are covering inspection of gas steel pipes for Piping Mozambique,
supplying Sasol Gas Plant -Temane project, to extend the network of capturing gas
from various well in Inhassoro-Govuro - Mozambique.

In Zambia we have a test and calibration contract with the state power generation
company in Zambia.

We also have an equipment rental division. Given the resources and experience within
the company, we offer a very competitive service and ITP’s in Zambia and Zimbabwe.

We represent Baltic Control Denmark and some of the world’s leading OEMs. The best
suitable product is carefully selected to suit each application.

We, through our subsidiary Ne Clue Trading, have trade agreements with OEM
companies such as Atlas Copco, Dynapac, AES Mechanical Seals, ASCO-IMI, Burket,
Dynapac. On the test and calibration side we work closely with.

We have six CMC’s (Calibration &Measurement Certifications) accredited after

successful implementation of the basic standards and procedures for the Zambia Lab.

We provide fluid power services, calibration of mechanical equipment,

instrumentation and control services.

Capabilities

Our company do ship’s structure and equipment inspection, e.g. cranes, ship’s cargo
gears, chains, wires, cranes, cargo holds, hatch cover water tightness, draft survey,
on-off hires, bunkers, draft and ship’s displacement surveying.

We also carry a minimal stock of drills, breakers and associated equipment, rollers,
scaffolding, plate compactors and heavy duty hoses. Our customer base continues to
grow and this has seen the company moving to bigger and more accessible premises
on Kafue Road in Lusaka.

Our subsidiary New Clue has provided calibration, test and evaluation services and
products at affordable prices for over 7 years now.
We have a team of knowledgeable professionals who can come out to your business
and perform an audit on-site. If your equipment does not conform to the required
standards, we have the expertise necessary to repair it and get your equipment
functioning just like new again.

Our staff have undergone intensive calibration training in Europe and this is an on-
going exercise.

Our subsidiary New Clue Trading have been approved for Shock & Vibration Testing,
Mechanical Safety & Metrology, Energy Efficiency, Failure Analysis and Load Testing.

We are approved by TUV-SUD and Goldkuhl Energi AB.

We are a long established distributor and supplier of replacement consumable Parts

and Accessories.

The company was established with an aim is to provide our clients with a standard
survey, testing and calibration service and a comprehensive range of high-quality
premium fluid power parts for all makes & models of compressors.

We supply and provides complete fluid power solutions as well as audits (ITP’s) and
calibration of hydraulic and metrology equipment, compressed air parts & accessories

Our subsidiary New Clue Trade, represents renowned pump manufacturers such as
Flyght and Pleuger.

Our strength lies in many years’ experience in these products and good pricing
coupled with short delivery lead times. We are in the process of incorporating a fully
equipped pump workshop which will include testing facilities for valve repairs.

We use renowned Beamex equipment for electronic calibration of pressure sensors,

temperature sensors etc.Free periodic inspections are available for all our registered
active customers.

Shut-down maintenance

We also offer service exchange units during maintenance, where can be available for
planned shutdown maintenance during weekends and public holidays. Our scope of
maintenance includes, but is not limited to mechanical installations, mechanical
maintenance, instrumentation and control, test work and calibration.

Personnel

We have two qualified and well experienced supervisors who are backed up by a hard
working team of four mechanical technicians. We also have well experienced technical
sales personnel who have acquired a good understanding of the regional market and
logistics.

The company has three directors whose background is in engineering and inspection.

They share over considerable years of experience between them. We have, in

conjunction with our principals, a continuous improvement and training plan for our
personnel to keep abreast with the latest technologies on the market. These are
mainly associated with calibration and testing.
