Dear Students,
UTAR is appointed and approved by the Ministry of Education as one of the centers for
Malaysian University English Test (MUET) examination to conduct the examination in
the University.
The registration period will be carried out from 7th December 2022 (Wednesday)
to 6th January 2023 (Friday) (for UTAR students only) with the MUET Centers
(Code) as follows:
Please note that manual form is not required for MUET registration.
All registration will be carried out through Google Form only.
Please submit the completed Google Registration form via 1UTAR email ONLY and
upload all the documents required. Any problems encountered with your 1UTAR
email, please approach us at info@utar.edu.my
The registration is strictly for UTAR student only and LIMITED to 816 seats for
Sungai Long Campus and 750 seats for Kampar Campus based on a “First
come, first served” basis. The form for the registration will be closed once the quota
is fulfilled.
Once you have successfully registered in the Google Form, DEAS will issue a
registration confirmation email with a second Google Form and the MEC Pin
purchasing guidelines (via MyPay) for registration fee payment within 3-5 working
days. You are required to respond to the second Google Form within 3 working
days from the date of the registration confirmation email. Failing to respond to
the second Google Form may cause your registration to be cancelled.
Your status will be informed after all the registration for the MUET examination in
UTAR has been processed and completed. Please contact us at
muet.deas@utar.edu.my if you have not received any email about your status by
27th December 2022.
Students who are unable to register to sit for the MUET examination in UTAR
campus due to all seats taken or wish to take the exam at their hometown, can
register directly as “Calon Persendirian / Private Candidate” through this link
https://muet.mpm.edu.my
For Calon Persendirian / Private Candidate, please submit a copy of your results
to the Division of Admissions and Credit Evaluation (DACE) and the Faculty
General Office for updating purposes.
Student(s) must meet this requirement within the maximum duration of the programme
of study. However, student(s) who possess the MUET result that meet the requirement
(or its equivalent*) upon enrollment into the UTAR programme, should be exempted
from this requirement.
Student(s) could opt to sit for the MUET test again to improve their grades (if any).
