Consumer behavior – Project

Spring 2022

Due to the economic crisis in lebanon , Brands has faced a dramatic changes
in the consumer’s behavior .

Those changes in the consumer’s behavior leaded to a noticeable action from


the part of Marketer’s who were forced to change their way of thinking to
survive. They had to draw a totally different marketing strategies.

The adaptation of Marketing strategies had an essential goal: to satisfy the


new needs and preferences of their target market and, on the other hand, to
have a solution for their customers doubts during this crisis.

Each group of students (1- 2 students) has to choose one company (preferable
local) and explain the points below:

1- How did the company realized the changes In their consumer’s behavior?
(explain in details , how and when?)

2- What type of changes has been made in the marketing strategies during
the crisis ( in this part the students should explain the difference between the
old marketing strategies for the same company before and after the crisis)
3- How did the consumers or their target market responded to this new
strategies (feed-back, the customer relationship management, the Customer
retention ) ? (preferable in numbers for loss or profit and comparative
table)
4- Conclusion : Did the company survived or still struggling?

This project should be sent as word version (3 to 5 pages) and the power point
version should be presented during the session (20-30 minutes).
