Instructions for Summer Internship Project Preparation for Students

Dear students,

In order to facilitate the preparation of Summer Internship Project report in 5th Semester students, some
important details and guidelines about the project are given here under. We request you follow them.

Details:

1. This project has to be prepared over the research work done by you during the summer internship
of 8 weeks over a particular topic assigned by the company based over your choice and area of
your interest.
2. You must have been provided one internal guide from the company as Internal Supervisor or the
project during 8 weeks duration.
3. Make sure that the you must have collected the required information, data and research material
within internship duration from the company and also from the industry.
4. Please also submit name with contact no. and email ID of Company Supervisor to the placement
office for future contact.
5. Also make sure that the summer internship has been completed and a certificate from the
company authority has been issued to the you, stating the topic of research and confirmation of
completion of the project successfully without any hinderance.
6. The report must contain a copy of certificate issued by the company after completion of the
project and the you must submit the offer letter also to the placement cell.
7. You cannot submit already made report or the report previously submitted. You must carry an
authentic certificate from the company.
8. The report must be signed by faculty supervisor on a certificate after verification of content and
follow-up of guidelines.
9. You must submit the report by the date of submission in the library.
10. For more clarity about the project preparation please visit the campus library for hard copy
submission.

Guidelines

1. The summer internship project report must be a hard bound in black color, printed on A4 sheets.
The cover page also be printed in golden color as per the format provided in picture.
2. The cover must contain the similar text, with title of the project, student’s name, enrolment no,
batch and faculty supervisor’s name followed by address and name of the institute with address.
3. A similar printed page has to be inserted after cover before proceeding to the project work
followed by the placement of company certificate issued by the company authorities.
4. After formal pages in report, make sure that the Table of Content must carry all the parts within
the project report.
5. The text should be in 12 points size, Time New Roman Font with bold and italics used authentically
for heading and visual separation.
6. All the tables must be produced in rows and columns properly without any page break.
7. The pictures and info graphics wherever being used in the project report should be clear and
visible.
8. All the chapters must be in detail and must contain authentic text with headings, points and sub-
points within the report.
9. Finding and Analysis part, should have placement of graphs, diagrams and picture accordingly
without page break continuity and wrong placement of text.
10. Annexures may contain Questionnaire and some other exhibits required.
11. Reference section must contain the books referred and website addresses from where the text
has been collected.
