ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMSPECT TEAMS

1. Event Management Team


● Ideation & conduction of the events
● Arrangement of both offline as well as online events including:
1. Contacting experts for seminars/competitions and asking about their
requirements.
2. Registrations for events.
3. On-ground arrangements / Virtual setups
● Handling the technical portion of events i.e., registration forms, sending
out links to people, and ensuring all the team members join the event
on time.
● Ensuring all the necessary arrangements to be made for offline events,
including decorations, maintaining good strength, handling the entire
flow of the event, etc.
● Ensuring all the team meetings are conducted properly and preparing
minutes of the meeting.
● Take attendance of the members.

2. Social Media Team:


● Regular posting on all social media handles i.e., Instagram, Facebook,
LinkedIn.
● Preparing graphics for all social media handles including posters,
regular posts, reels, and videos.
● Doing hashtag research and preparing a proper event calendar in
advance, including special days and holidays.
● Posting on Comspect’s website regularly.
● Formulating content for social media posts.
● Writing articles for society blogs bi-monthly.
● Providing quotes for social media posts/stories.
● Looking for inspiration from the content of other societies (including
societies of our college and other colleges), to put on our social media
handles

3. Skill Enhancement Team


● Organizing fortnight workshops for core skill enhancement like MS-
Excel, LinkedIn Branding, language, etc.
● Reach out to students from the college or Industry Experts with expert
knowledge of such topics to deliver workshops.
● Ensure smooth conduct of all workshops.
● Focusing on the following projects-
Buddy Project: Organizing orientation activities for first-year students
and ensuring the promotion of all society events among the first-year
batch.
Alumni Connect: Approach our college alumni for speaker sessions
on placement insights, acing competitive exams, corporate skills, etc.

4. Public Relations Team:


● Bringing in sponsorships
● Reaching out to companies and colleges for sponsorships.
● Preparing MOUs and sending emails for collaborations.
● Managing collaborations and ensuring completion of all terms from both
parties.
● Managing the society’s fund and keeping a proper record of it.
● Managing google drive with respect to sponsorship coupons and
documents.

5. Bulletin Team

A. NEWSLETTER
● Compiling all the monthly activities and content prepared by the society
in one place.
● Creating & designing a monthly newsletter for the society including a
news column, a research column, facts related to commerce, quizzes,
etc.
● Ask for research papers or articles from the entire commerce discipline.

B. GENERAL AWARENESS
● Providing Daily Facts of general awareness and news for social media
stories including a weekly roundup of current happenings in the world.
● News should cover all the current world scenarios, and socio-eco
conditions domestically and internationally.
● Conducting debating competitions on current affairs and regular
discussion of events happening regularly,
● Basically cater to the needs of the students preparing for competitive
exams.
