Avionics System Engineer

Permanent employee, Full-time · Munich

YOUR MISSION

Your primary mission is to contribute to the design and validation of the avionics & power
systems of our vehicles: our LEO capsule and our Lunar spacecraft.

As a core member of the Avionics & Power team, your main tasks are:

• To ensure consistency between the various avionics sub-system (communications,


power, data handing and communication, thermal control, …)
• To contribute to the overall qualification logic for the avionics and define the
hardware in the loop (HIL) platform required for this qualification
• To define the process and tools to generate and maintain the hardware synoptic that
will enable to generate the harness definition
• To write technical documentation and participate to reviews for avionics
• To take the direct responsibility of one or more avionics sub-system (power, thermal
control, propulsion command...) depending on your area of expertise

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar


engineering degree
• 3+ years of experience in avionics system architecture/design
• Understanding of electrical schematics and experience analyzing electrical circuits
and developing functional test plans
• Experience with hardware in the loop platform and associated real-time simulator
• Good knowledge in coding (C, Python…)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Space enthusiast: ready to change the European space industry
• Fluent in English. German and French are an asset
