Hello, everyone.

If you are wondering, why I look so happy, then the answer is the
burger Swiggy just home delivered to me. Smart food delivery has surely made
life easier- now we can eat restaurant food without ever having to go to the
restaurant! Mom always scolds me but I don’t understand why. It saves her
efforts and we can have any amount of food delivered within 40 minutes. We can
also order from different restaurants at once and live track our food.
My grandparents don’t really like burgers, but there are no fast-food joints that
serve good south-Indian food as well. So, one of us would always be unhappy
when we all want to go out to eat...now, Swiggy and Zomato have solved our
problem! These apps are like everyone’s personal genie…saying, “Your wish is my
command.’’
Wait, what is this in the news? Someone found a used band-aid in the noodles
they ordered from Swiggy! Oh, that reminds me, I once saw a video of a Zomato
delivery guy opening the customer’s food packets and eating from it and that too
with his bare hands! How unhygienic is that, especially in times of Covid-19! Now
that I think about it, Swiggy and Zomato have terrible customer service and inflate
food prices on their apps. And we all already know about the terrible quality of
outside food.
Besides, the food Mom cooks is completely free of charge, and completely full
of love. I remember one night I was burning up with fever, and all I wanted was
some lemonade and curd rice. There was no Swiggy or Zomato that could have
given me that, especially that late at night. But my mother cooked it for me
without complaints, and what’s more, she stayed by my bedside throughout the
night to keep me company. There is certainly no food delivery service that is this
dedicated to the customers! My mom also knows the requirements of our family
and cooks delicious food according to our taste, all with a smile on her face. They
say that cooking is love made visible, and my mother proves it every day. I
understand now what Mom has been telling me all along!
I promise I’m gonna give my mom a big hug and thank her for all the effort and
love she puts into cooking for us every single day. Because-
I don’t want Zomato,
I don’t need Swiggy,
I have my own awesome chef
And that is my Mommy!
