Voc Course

University has decided to start B.Voc programmes wef the AY 2022-23. The
regulation was approved by all statutory bodies of the University. As per the
directions of SSC on A&R, affiliation section has collected relevant
documents from colleges interested to start B.Voc from this academic year.
The following colleges have submitted the documents to start B.Voc courses
as shown (table 1).

The documents submitted by the colleges are tabulated (table 2). The
following documents are to be verified physically prior to issuing affiliation
from the University.

 Resources of the Institution including Library, Class Room, Computer

Centre, etc.
 Laboratory/workshop facilities for face-to-face delivery of skills and
hands-on practice either owned or arranged through tie-up with the
partner industry
 Faculty details: The faculty student ratio shall be 1:30.Additionally,
they may hire Industry experts on contractual basis in the core trades
and also guest /visiting /part time /adjunct faculty from either the
industry or open market or NSDC approved training partners for
imparting skills.
 The Advisory Committee: It include the representative(s) of the
affiliating university, relevant industries, relevant Sector Skills
 Council(s), and Nodal Officer of B.Voc Scheme. The Principal of the
college or his/her nominee will be the Chairman of the Advisory
Committee and the Nodal Officer will be the Member-Secretary.
 MoU with any AICTE approved Skill Knowledge Partner
(SKP)/Training Provider approved by NSDC or government agency
having industry connect with the approval of the University. The SKP
must be located near the vicinity of college. In case there is no AICTE
approved SKP or Training Provider approved by NSDC or Govt. Agency
near to the vicinity of college, the college can sign an MoU with any
Training Partner/Industry with the approval of the AICTE/University.
