Abstract
Anemia in pregnant women is a condition that occurs when the body lacks red blood cells or
lower than normal limits, pregnant women will be said to be anemic if their hemoglobin is
less than 11.0 g/dl. At the time of the assessment the family had not been able to recognize
disease problems and care for sick family members, so family nursing care was needed. Types
of nursing care case studies. The focus of the research is the subject of family nursing care.
The instrument is used a family nursing assessment format. Data collection methods are
interviews, observation, physical examination, literature study and documentation study. The
research location is in the Lokpaikat Health Center Work Area, Tapin Regency, the time of
the study was 3 times which was carried out in March 2022. The results of the case study
obtained 3 diagnoses of risk of nutritional deficit related to the inability of families to care for
family members who experience anemia problems in pregnant women, knowledge deficiency
related to the inability of families to recognize anemia in pregnant women and the risk of
anemia in pregnant women. Ineffective peripheral perfusion related to the inability of the
family to care for problematic family members anemia in pregnant women. Clients can
prevent anemia with early prevention and control efforts from clients. Prevention efforts can
be done by increasing iron intake through food, consuming animal foods in sufficient
quantities and reducing food consumption that can inhibit iron absorption.
