Several studies have been published that reveal the effects of pandemics in the health sectors,

particularly the shortage of nurses in various parts of the world. The pandemic has caused enormous

changes in the lives of people all over the world, as well as a significant impact on health sectors,

including policies, management, and the well-being of health care providers, particularly nurses, who

are known as frontliners.

This study investigated stress and provide insight into how to improve, strengthen, and effectively

employ the stress management techniques of Filipino nurses working in seven (7) government hospitals

in Al Jouf region, Saudi Arabia. The researcher utilized a Descriptive-Correlational research method and

non-probability sampling. The data collection process was done using adapted questionnaire and was

uploaded to Google Forms, and a link were sent via WhatsApp.

Findings shows that Filipino nurses rarely experience stress in physiological, emotional, and

mental aspects. Filipino nurses always manage stress manifestations in emotional and mental

aspects. The manifestation of stress is significantly related to marital status, educational

qualification, and area of assignments. There was a significant difference in the manifestation of

stress in terms of emotional and mental aspects when Filipino nurses were grouped according to job

title/position. There was a significant difference in stress management and manifestation of stress in

mental aspect when respondents were grouped according to Area of assignment.

Resiliency, perseverance, positive mind setting, building harmonious relationships as a strong

support system and good intervention programs, strategic plans and stress management from the

hospital and government of Saudi Arabia focusing on the wellbeing of nurses to cope with the

pandemic.

the researcher suggests investigating the impact of stress management offered by hospitals on

workers' health or job satisfaction, as well as conducting a qualitative research.
