Schlatter spare parts and wear parts are used.
3.2.9. EC Conformity
This modification does not constitute a significant change within the meaning
of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Only existing components will be replaced by new ones, without significant
changes in functionality or performance.
No significant change means that no additional protective measures are
required due to this modification. The installed safety circuit on the existing
plant (e.g. disconnection of drives and cylinders when light barriers are
interrupted or safety doors opened) complies with the regulations at the time
of the past delivery and must function perfectly.
This modification does not include any changes to the safety circuit (except
the current and standard ones associated with the modification) and
therefore a new risk assessment with an EC declaration of conformity is not
necessary.
Any requirements extending beyond this, on the part of the customer or other
local authorities, are excluded from the scope of supply!
Today, stricter safety regulations are valid. New machines that are newly
delivered comply with these current regulations. For an upgrade of the
existing safety circuit, including a possible risk assessment, an offer can be
requested at any time from Schlatter Industries AG.

3.2.10. Liability for hazardous machine installation

All Schlatter machine plants may only be operated when original and intact
safety devices and systems installed and fitted. Schlatter machines may only
be used for their intended purpose according to and described in the
operating instructions. All subsequently supplied Schlatter spare parts and
reconstruction components may only be used in Schlatter machines that are
operated in accordance with the regulations and these instructions.
Furthermore, any support, maintenance or work on Schlatter equipment by
employees of Schlatter Industries AG is only permitted if all safety
regulations and instructions have been adhered to without exception.
