1. POLICY STATEMENT:
BVG India Ltd. believes that all new employees MUST be given timely induction training.
This training is regarded as a vital part of staff recruitment and integration into the working
environment. This policy, associated procedures and guidelines define the Company’s
commitment to ensure that all staff is supported during the period of induction, to the benefit
of the employee and Company alike.
2. PURPOSE:
2.1 It is the aim of the Company to ensure that staff induction is dealt with in an organized
and consistent manner, to enable staff to be introduced into a new post and working
environment quickly, so that they can contribute effectively as soon as possible. This
induction policy, associated procedures and guidelines aim to set out general steps for
managers and staff to follow during the induction process. It is expected that all managers
and staff will adhere to this policy. This would also enhance the brand of the company and
help control attrition.
2.2 To imparted induction and orientation to new recruits so as to help them become familiar
with the organization and adapt to the new working environment as quickly as possible so
that they become an effective member of BVG and to help a new comer to integrate more
smoothly into BVG.

DAY - ONE:
4.2 HR Department will help all new employees to fill up and submit the following
forms / documents:
4.3 The process of getting the forms filled create a new Personal file of the new
employees that archives all above documents.
4.4 The Corporate HR Department shall also keep the all employees informed of
the joining of new management staff employees through Joining Intimation
DAY – TWO:
DAY – THREE:
1.1 All departmental introductions about their profile, key responsibilities and
interdepartmental relationship will be covered.
1.2 Introduction with Segment Heads/HOD’s will be conducted on the same day
DAY – FOUR:
1.1 This will include introduction of new joinee to site operation, site working and customer.
It helps new joinee to understand company working efficiently.
DAY – FIVE:
Training on PMS will be delivered for all new joinee’s to understand the Performance
Management System of the organization.
DAY – SIX:
Day five will be orientation of New Joinee to his department: This will includes,
1.1 Introduction to Department Head, Team Member
1.2 Allotment of Buddy for New Joinee
1.3 Introduction to Department Head, Team Member: New joinee will get introduced to his
Department HOD through HR Department
1.4 Department HOD will introduce the new joinee to his team members
DAY – SEVEN:
This will include setting of KRA’s for new joinee through his Department HOD in
coordination with HR Department
- Same KRA’s will be communicated to new joinee on same day and recorded as per
PMS procedure
1.1.1 Buddy program is a tool to accelerate the new employee’s ability to deal with the early
disconcerting issues. By implementing Buddy Program it is intended that:
1.1.1 The new employee feels at home with the company, in a quick process
1.1.2 Straight forward queries regarding basic operational issues are dealt with in a timely
and non-bureaucratic manner
1.2.1 Orientation and retention are all about making your new employees feel at home.
Along the way, that also means helping them understand your organizational culture and
politics. A buddy program is a great tool to assist in both of these objectives.
1.2.1 A buddy program is a great way to accelerate the new employees ability to deal with
these early disconcerting issues.
BUDDY" is one who partners with a new employee during their first Six months of
employment.
1.3.1 A Buddy can be given more than one new joinees too.
1.3.2 The BUDDY offers advice and guidance to help foster and promote the professional
development of a new employee in initial days. He is generally a superior performer
and has good people skills.
1.3.3 The BUDDY being highly motivated and efficient employee he can be an effective
source of advice and encouragement.
1.4 Roles & Responsibility of Roles:
BUDDY’s responsibility is to help establish a sense of belonging for the new employee.
With an effective BUDDY, new employee will quickly become a contributing member to his
or her new department.’
1.4.1 Buddy is not the new employee’s manager or supervisor and will not be held
responsible for new employee’s performance. (If queries arise regarding
performance, disciplinary or policy matters, while Buddy is free to give his opinion
and advice on how to approach the matter, Buddy is not authorized to adjudicate or
resolve the matter. New employee must be directed to their manager or supervisor for
resolution of the relevant professional issues)
1.4.2 Be an informational resource for the new employee on policies, procedures, work
rules, norms, etc.
1.4.3 Help socialize the new employee.
1.4.4 Assist in training the new employee.
A) 15th of every month i.e. for new joinees who join’s from 01st to 15th
B) 30th or 31st of every month i.e. for new joinee who join’s from 16th to 30th or 31st
C) All segments new joinee will be called for this inductions (Region wise)
D) Induction plan will be communicated to Segment Head, Segment lead 3 to 4 days
before Induction
E) Same will be communicated to Admin department for arrangement of
Infrastructure for the Induction
