Oh hi! Carmen. Good Day

CARMEN
Can you accompany me here? I just want to have someone to talk with while waiting.

NOAH
waiting? Oh, Danilo? Sure, I’ll be there. Make me some coffee.

CARMEN
Okay then, I’ll wait for you see you!

CARMEN
As always. I can’t wait for Danilo to come home.

NOAH
You really can’t wait for him, look you even make him coffee. I just remembered the last time I made
my father and mother coffee after they came home from work. Father loves lots of black coffee
while mother preferred a creamy one but I didn’t know that it is the last one. They left me when I
was 16.

son! You need to be strong on your own!

Y NOAH
I don’t need to be strong I need to be loved. How could you say that? You’re an irresponsible,
worthless, and selfless mother! Ma! How could you do this to me? I’m your son! You should love me
you should freaking stays with me!

It was when you know waiting for him to come home. Even though, I know something’s going on. It
was before our anniversary.

that freaking thing, when I am here alone in this house. Why did you marry me? Why did you love
me? I’m your wife Danilo and you just Oh freaking man you’re a deceitful, liar, and liar husband. I’ve
been always waiting for you, thinking of you, trusting you that you are doing fine and yet you’re
doing something else! I wish I can unlove you and I hate myself for still loving you. I hate that every
time I wake up I wish you were with me. I wish you were there beside me I hate it, I freaking hate it.

CARMEN

Silence ate them both as the sound of the clock fills the room. Carmen’s coffee is already half of its
glass and Noah finishes his.

Oh, is he here?

DANILO
No. He’s not coming anymore. Never.

Today marks the day he died but still I’m always waiting with a cup of coffee.

that time she finally answered, “Waiting cannot be measured by numbers, dear, it’s until the other
person return”.

I guess that’s it, I’ll just wait for him and everything will just be like “nanlamig na kape”
