FREE Chinese New Year Coloring Challenge

Thank you for downloading this fun coloring activity.

I do hope your students enjoy celebrating Chinese New Year 2023, 'The Year of The Rabbit'.
I' m sure their finished artworks will make an eye catching classroom display.
Encourage your students to think about the color palette they choose - the challenge is
to see if the rabbit silhouette stands out from the patterned background when the artwork is
complete.

You will find the following:

1. Templates for the abstract 'hidden rabbit' activity- choose from 3 options. Students can
expand the activity by drawing their own diagonal lines or rabbit outline
2. Two digital posters to display and use as a guide if you wish
3. A template to create your own color stories and a finished example

Key materials needed:

1. Good quality paper for printing
2. Marker pens/ paints/ colored pencils/ crayons/ oil pastels/ glue stick, magazines for collage
3. Creatively confident students can add patterns and collage to the shapes to make this
activity more challenging.
