raised for material inspection and approval obtained for use at site.

4.2 Handling / Storage and Transportation at site:

● Hand gloves shall be used for shifting / lifting / loading / handling, etc.
● Acoustic floor blocks shall be handled with care to prevent it from damages
● Any damage to material occurring during transport shall be strictly prevented by
removing any sharp edges and debris from the loading bed and side supports.

4.3 Procedure for Application

● Site Measurement
▪ Measure lengths of handrails required per staircase.
▪ Measure steps, angles, height.
▪ Measure points for anchor bolts.

● Preparation
▪ Setup of production list such number of pipes, post, base plates, elbows, etc.
▪ Procurement of materials mentioned above.

▪ Coordinate and furnish, setting, drawings, templates, and directions for
installation of SS Handrail.

● Fabrication
▪ SS handrails will be fabricated with 1m height from ground level with 50mm Dia
SS316 pipe as the railings and post.
▪ In case for longer handrails, it will be divided to multiple parts.
▪ The fabricated handrails and tagged welded before it will be mock fitted on the
staircase to ensure proper fitting and match the stairs. Welding method used is
argon MIG welding.
▪ Complete/full welding will be done in the workshop on the joints of the railings,
posts and baseplates once all necessary adjustment is completed.

● Installation
▪ 14mm hole will be drilled on the concrete floor according to the dimensions.
▪ The base plate will be bolted to the concrete floor using M12 SS316 anchor bolts.
▪ The multiple parts of handrails will be joined together via complete/full welding
on site. Welding method used is argon MIG welding.

● Finishing
▪ Buffing and polishing of handrails to ensure smooth and polish finish.
▪ General cleaning.
