The 4th grade students will construct basic structured sentences with at least 90% accuracy by integrating
preposition (at) about jobs and their working places and build dialogues with their pairs/groups after
attending the two hours of class.

Summary
Students will make sentences (I am a teacher, I work at hospital…) and dialogues through activities (question
& answer), watching and observing informative materials and adapt the usage of “at” (at airport, at
school…).

Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan


For the second week, firstly, teacher will repeat the last week topic (jobs and their working areas). After that
teacher will focus on the implementation of the how to form basic sentences about jobs (I/am/a/doctor) by
showing informative documents which have mixed elements of sentence. To introduce the topic better,
students will watch an educational video about simple questions and answers about job. Additionally, the
teacher will explain the question forms to the students while watching the video. Following, the students will
examine the pictochart with their teacher and complete the acquisition of dialogue structure. For the role-
play activity the students firstly will fill the worksheet about dialogue making. Then, student will make the
role- play activity with their pairs on the stage. To reinforce the topic, teacher will assign the students with a
homework, which is about communicating parents or close ones about the learned topic.
Back-up plan: If there aren’t available number of students, the teacher will be pair one of them. In any
technical problems, teacher will tell the topic on by herself/himself.
