How does knowing one’s self help in performing your duties as a CWTS student?
Student’s Answer:

Knowing oneself can help a cwts student perform better in his or her tasks as a leader. Humans are
complex and diverse creatures. To become more self-aware, we must first comprehend ourselves in a
variety of ways. Self-awareness allows us to discover deficiencies in our management abilities, allowing us
to develop them.

To become a better leader, we must first become more self-aware, since this makes our work simpler and
sometimes even enjoyable. Self-awareness has a greater beneficial influence on your leadership. A high
degree of self-awareness not only leads to professional success and effective leadership — it also
enhances your bottom line.It demands us to be bold and vulnerable in order to face what we 'don't know
we don't know' about ourselves. Personality evaluations, EQ tests, and 360-degree assessments, to
mention a few, must go deeper than we are accustomed to.

Self-awareness is not a miraculous answer, but it may make a difference. It teaches us to be more
adaptable while communicating with others. No matter how far you advance, there is always more to
learn about yourself. Being self-conscious is a process, not a state of being. We are all more unaware than
aware. To lead others, we must first learn to lead ourselves.
