PERFORMANCE TASK IN SCIENCE 10 – SECOND GRADING

As reported by the secretary of the Department of Health (DOH) there is an alarming increase in the number of
Filipinos suffering from skin cancer. As part of the Barangay Health Center Information Council, you are asked to prepare
an interesting and informative infographic showing ways on how to protect oneself from the harmful effects of EM
radiation such as the UV radiation from the sun. Such infographics can be a source of relevant and substantial
information founded on scientific medical researches about the different EM waves and their detrimental effects to
one’s health. The infographics will be distributed during the annual convention of health center workers in the
Philippines. It will be evaluated based on content, graphics, work cited, visual appeal and promptness in submission.
