1. Although the advice you give them is well intentioned,

you need to let them follow their own paths and learn
in their own way. If you make them feel constricted,
you are less likely to get the most out of their
potential.

2. You can make suggestions about how they should

learn and study but most of the time you should just
leave them to their own devices and they will be ok.
3. Some students struggle more than others but if you
give them a chance and try to work in a way which
best fits their needs, they will usually try their best.

4. You want to make a good impression on them and be

their friend. I don’t really mind if they are learning in
class but if they like me then I’m happy.

5. If they do something wrong in class or make lots of

mistakes in their homework you must punish them.
You should insist that they make an apology to you in
front of the rest of their classmates.
