This image provided us with an example of Euclid’s work in triangles in society and architecture.
2. Bridges: Flying Links Help Bring Communities Together(Image) Author: George Olson
By seeing this image, we were provided by an example of Euclid’s work in arcs and circles in society and
architecture.
From this image, we were provided by another prominent structure that shows Euclid’s impact in all of
history.
We used this secondary source on Democritus to better understand Democritus and his theories on
cones.
By reading this secondary source, we were better able to understand the time of Euclid and his
contribution towards geometry in the form of theories on circle-based 3-dimensional shapes.
Using this article, we were able to deduce the Euclid’s work was made up of proving other philosophers’
theorems in a systematic manner.
From this article/timeline, we were able to learn about Euclid’s time and his impact on the society of his
age.
This article informed us about the 5 Axioms of geometry, or the basic and foundational statements of all
theorems, which Euclid developed.
9. Euclid- Biography, Contributions, Geometry, and Facts – Britannica(Image) Authors: The Editors
of Encyclopedia Britannica
This image provided us with an estimation of how Euclid might have looked like and how he might have
lived.
From this article, we learned about Euclid’s work with circle-related 3-dimensional objects.

12. How Euclid Once Ruled the World(Article) Author: Judith Grabiner
By reading this article, we learned more about Euclid’s approach to proofs and theorems, which was
systematic.

While gathering information from this article, I learned the history of the Pythagorean theorem, which
Euclid did extensive proofing on.
This primary source, which was the actual text of The Elements, which provided us with Euclid’s actual
words and work.
15. The Pythagorean Theorem: The Way of Truth (Article) Author: Eric D. Bernholc
Eric D. Bernholc states that Pythagoras made a consistent theorem for the properties of the sides of
right angles called the Pythagorean Theorem.

An important part of understanding the qualities of Euclid’s proofs was shown in this picture.
In this article, we were able to understand that details about Euclid are very sparsely distributed, but
that his textbook The Elements had such a great impact that he was made a historical figure.
This primary source showed Euclid’s actual drawings and work in his textbook, The Elements.
This primary source showed us the actual text of The Elements, which gave us a better understanding of
Euclid and The Elements’s histories.
From viewing and analyzing this primary source, we were able to see the impact of The Elements, for it
was adapted in many ways to make it more accessible.
