Have you experienced staying up late and staring at nothing?

Have you found yourself crying in the middle of the night while reflecting on your own
thoughts?
Have you found yourself losing all the motivation and drive you had when you were younger?
Have you found yourself unable to properly talk with your friends,
too tired to communicate that you'd lose your patience and just snap at them?
Have you found yourself on the verge of giving up?

I do.
As I write this piece, my tears continuously flow in my eyes.
I am left with my thoughts of having to face an uncertain future
They pushed us, the young, to a dark path tainted with blood, massacre, disinformation, and
corruption.
They mocked us for our own morality and told us to stick our heads in the blinded words of a
book and not involve ourselves in the truth of politics.

We wanted change
We wanted a promising future
We wanted hope

But they stripped the young of their right to cry--

--for the truth
--for freedom
--for our rights
They broke our dreams and hopes into a million pieces.

But we will return...

..stronger.

This, we promise.
