1 Identify the pupil, iris, and retina and label the diagram.

2 Match the sentences with numbers 1, 2 and 3 on the pictures above.

(a) The image is projected on the retina but it is upside down!

(b) Light and the image we see enter the eye through the pupil.

(c) The retina sends the information about this image to the brain and this is what we see.

• Ask them to identify the part of the eye and write the names on the diagram.
• Then ask them to match the sentences with the numbers on the picture.
