3.4. Learners in difficult circumstances

ANNOTATION
It was reflected in our WHLP that students with difficulties can
asked assistance from the teachers in various ways. It was stated
on what platforms they can connect to the teachers. One of my
students was in Baguio the time the classes started so I sent all
the activities to her to help while she cannot go back to Cavite.

• Teaching happens in different platforms. It can be on Google
Classroom, Facebook Group Page or Messenger. I did use
google forms and quizziz for quizzes and word for performance
task which can be converted by students on pdf and jpeg or still
on docs depends on which their phone (mostly used by
students) can do

7.4. Professional reflection & learning to
improve practice
During this time of pandemic the field of education has
been a big challenge as to how it will continue. Face-to-
face is prohibited and only parents can pick up learners'
materials. Despite these discussions, opening of the class
continued. What has been the preparation of DepEd
faculty and staff? Parents and students to keep up with
the change?
Different seminars were attended by teachers for
preparation. Webinars about using technology to take
hold of students ’attention even at home were actually
attended by many teachers. Students and parents, on the
other hand, are working on ways to find gadgets that are
available. They also don't want their children to do
nothing for a year, especially since they can't leave the
house.
As you can see on this portfolio, some of parents really
did their responsibility for their child's education. They
are going to school to get modules and activities and
others install wifi’s on their home.
From this, many still believes that education is the key for
everything. Yes, difficult at this time but accepting and
embrace it wholeheartedly will be easy along the way.

ANNOTATION
• Did PTC and discussed to parent’s what to and not to do
of the students to get higher grades. While did an online
meeting of my advisory class and discussed why some
grades were low and how can we help each other for
progress.
