THE TOPIC IS ONLINE AND OFFLINE TEACHING


DURING LOCKDOWN
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

THIS PROJECT IS TO HIGHLIGHT ONE OF THE MAJOR ADVERSE AFFECTS


OF LOCKDOWN DURING PANDEMIC THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

THE NATION HAS BEEN SEVERELY AFFECTED BY THE PANDEMIC WHICH IT


STILL FAILS TO OVERCOME AFTER ALMOST A YEAR. THE PANIC AND
TRAUMA CAUSED BY THE PANDEMIC STILL THRIVES IN THE HEART OF THE
CITIZENS OF THE NATION.
EDUCATION AND PANDEMIC

THE ANCIENT WAY OF EDUCATION WAS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO PURSUE


DURING THIS ADVERSE CONDITION. WHERE PEOPLE SEEMED TO BE GETTING
INFECTED BY MERELY STAYING CLOSE, STAYING IN A ROOM WITH THIRTY
STUDENTS WAS PURE MADNESS. THINGS NEEDED TO CHANGE AND IT DID, SINCE
KEEPING A WHOLE ACADEMIC YEAR PAUSED IS QUITE A CHAOS AND MENACE
FOR THE LEARNING YEARS. SINCE OFFLINE WAS NOT APPLICABLE OUR
EDUCATION SYSTEM SWITCHED TO ONLINE MODE FOR THE ENTIRE COUNTRY.
OFFLINE /ONLINE: PROS AND CONS
OFFLINE WAS A TRADITIONAL METHOD SOMETHING WE GOT ACCUSTOMED TO
FOR CENTURIES NOW. ONLINE WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT APPROACH
TOWARDS LEARNING. NOW ONLINE TEACHING OR E- LEARNING IS QUITE
COMMON IN WESTERN COUNTRIES WHERE THE TERM HOME SCHOOL IS USED.
BUT, THERE ARE CERTAIN CONS FOR BOTH. OFFLINE TEACHING FOR SENIOR
YEARS SPECIALLY IS REALLY TIME CONSUMING AND TRANSPORTATION CHARGES
ALSO ADD UP TO THE TROUBLE. SOME PEOPLE LIVING FAR AWAY GO THROUGH
HECTIC JOURNEYS JUST TO LEARN. ONLINE AGAIN CAN BE DISTRACTING, AND
LACK OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT IS SEEN.
THERE ARE CERTAIN PROS TOO, LIKE OFFLINE TEACHING IS A MUCH
PERSONALISED VERSION OF TEACHING WHERE WE LEARN FACE TO FACE.
ONLINE IS AN AFFORDABLE METHOD OF TEACHING WHERE YOU CAN LEARN
ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.
ONLINE TEACHING AND INDIA

EVEN THOUGH ONLINE METHOD OF EDUCATION IS MUCH AFFORDABLE AND


COMFORTABLE BUT, OUR COUNTRY BEING AGRO BASED FAILS TO SUFFICE THE
UTILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS METHOD OF TEACHING. OUR COUNTRY DOES NOT
HAVE THE NETWORKING SYSTEM REQUIRED FOR ONLINE TEACHING. INDIAN
EDUCATORS ARE NOT TRAINED WITH ONLINE TECHNIQUES FOR TEACHING
HENCEFORTH, FAILING THE ENTIRE METHOD. MOST OF OUR COUNTRY IS RURAL
AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO PROVIDE SUCH ADVANCED FACILITIES FOR EVERYONE.
HENCE, THE TRADITIONAL OFFLINE METHOD HOLDS MORE FRUITFUL THAN
ONLINE TEACHING.
STUDENT REFLECTION

THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS BEEN A WAVE OF TERROR AND CHAOS ACROSS
THE GLOBE. OUR COUNTRY IS NO DIFFERENT, HAVING HIGH POPULATION
PROVED TERRIBLE FOR INTENSIFYING DANGER OF THE VIRUS. EVERY FIELD OF THE
COUNTRY WAS AFFECTED. EDUCATION WAS WORST HIT MAKING LEARNING
YEARS QUITE CHALLENGING. DESPITE ALL THIS, LESSONS WERE LEARNED BOTH
ACADEMIC AND PRACTICAL. VARIOUS NEW EXPERIENCES WITH LEARNING
WERE CREATED. IN THIS STAGE WE WERE ALL LEARNING, STUDENTS LEARNING
LEASONS TEACHERS LEARNING DIGITAL SKILLS. THE TWO WAY LEARNING WILL
ALWAYS REMAIN A MEMORY.
