RITE OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE
ARCHDIOCESAN YOUTH CROSS
 
INTRODUCTION
As we celebrate this years’ theme from the holy Father Pope Francis’
Synod on Synodality, “Walking Together”, we desire to bring you the
Archdiocesan Youth Day Cross as a symbol of our mission in bringing the
message of the Lord to be one in his journey to spread His Love. We also
encourage young ministers to bring the message of Synodality “Walking

offer Him all our hardships. Confident that He is always

Cross and be ready to share in the passion of Christ and to live

WHAT IS AYD?
The Archdiocesan Youth Day (AYD) is an event where the local
Church expresses, in a very concrete ways, her great love for the
young. This becomes an occasion of activities which highlights
the Church’s preferential love for the youth, for young people to
celebrate and deepen their faith and the whole Christian
community to come together, united in a journey towards
intimacy with Christ.
