3 kinds of trends:

1. Uptrend - Price increases.

2. Downtrend - Price decreases.

3. Sideways - Price is within a set amount.

2 ways to Identify trends: Trendlines and Moving Averages

Moving Averages (MAs)
- preferred by ZFT System 20MA
- Uses 20MA, 50MA, and 100MA

50MA

100MA
MAs under price are Bullish MAs above price are Bearish

MA Trails
Fast MA Trail - MAs are far apart Slow MA Trail - MAs are intersecting

Alignment of the Stars (AOTS)

- It’s when the MAs are under the price and follow
the 20MA > 50MA >100MA alignment. This symbolizes
a powerful uptrend

Inverse Alignment of the Stars (iAOTS)

- It’s when the MAs are above the price and follow
the 100MA > 50MA > 20MA alignment. This symbolizes
a powerful downtrend
Zeus Strike (ZS)
- Coming from a downtrend, the MAs will go under the price, signifying a potential
uptrend

Inverse Zeus Strike (iZS)

- Coming from an uptrend, the MAs will go over the price, signifying a
potential downtrend

Parallel Universe Alignment (PUA)

When a chart with a higher timeframe has similarities with a chart with a lower
timeframe. Simply put, if a Weekly chart has an AOTS, if the Daily chart has an
AOTS as well, they have PUA.

AOTS Plays
- Riding the Trend is basically buying during an
uptrend and selling before it.
- Anticipating the Alignment is a bit risky, since AOTS can fail even when the
MAs are lined up correctly.
ZS Plays
- Selling on ZS is meant to preserve your capital/money. Since a ZS can fail.

- ZS Continuation says that, within 5-10 days another ZS may occur.
