When sustainability is the guiding principle.

Sustainability is a core element of our corporate culture.

This is evident in the materials we use and in our manufacturing processes,
which are powered by an extremely environment-friendly energy mix that
largely excludes fossil fuel consumption.

Environmental protection is a priority in the production process, as evident

in the raw materials we use and our waste avoidance methods.
In line with these practices, we have an ISO 14001 environmental
management system in place.

Unsurpassed stability
meets lasting
cost-efficiency
Traffic volume, and thus the burden on our roads, increases every year.
Increasing truck traffic poses a major challenge to maintaining roadway
stability. This means rising road maintenance costs and more safety risk.
For road damage poses a dangerous accident hazard.

Safer and more durable: LEFIX® shoulder slabs.

LEFIX® shoulder slabs are effective in stopping this development, as
their design prevents slab loosening, with a stable surface structure
that affords easy steering correction. They reduce road shoulder wear
so less maintenance is required, yielding lower maintenance cost. The
‘rumbling’ sound made when driven over the edge of the road alerts
drivers, enhancing safety.

Abrasion-proof:
Two-layer design
The shoulder slabs have concrete facing
for a smooth, frost-resistant and
abrasion-resistant top surface.

Safety-enhancing: Rumble effect

A grooved profile makes a rumbling noise
when driven over, alerting drivers that they
have reached the edge of the road.

Practical: Interlocking design

Frontal interlocking teeth make the slabs grip
together so they cannot be displaced,
affording easier installation as well.

Attention-seeking: Signaling color

LEFIX® shoulder slabs are also
available with colored facing concrete. The color
does not wear off, ensuring permanent visibility.

Sustainable innovation.

Visible: Reflective surfaces
Optional reflection markers holding thousands of micro-sized
glass beads are highly reflective, further heightening the
guidance effect for greater safety.

Clean: Drainage indentations

A grooved profile conducts surface water off in
controlled fashion, avoiding slab flooding that
typically occurs.

Road shoulders
with safety function
On local road arteries, road shoulders are a sensitive area. The shoulder
damage rate in these areas can be extremely high in certain cases.
High-quality precast concrete elements like LEFIX® shoulder slabs
create the stability required to eliminate these familiar problems.
The shoulder slabs are made of high-density concrete and are resistant to
frost and de-icing salt at a concrete grade of C30/37. The grooved surface
and wedge-shaped profile of the shoulder slabs afford optimal drainage,
avoiding water backflow. The grooves on the surface of the shoulder slabs
also heighten the guidance and warning effect for drivers.

The right
solution for
long life
The key benefits to using LEFIX® shoulder slabs are better shoulder
support and driveability, economical road repair and safety at road’s
edge. These advantages benefit road users in the area of safety, while
the road maintenance authority benefits from reduced maintenance and
repair requirements, lowering labor cost. For the road operator it is of
great value to know that a safe route is provided for road users.

Focused on safety:
our bases
for traffic systems.
Safety-relevant traffic elements like reflector posts and traffic signs are exposed to wind
and weather day and night, and other mechanical influences. Accordingly, they require
considerable stability. Our traffic system bases deliver an ideal grip combined with
twisting protection.

Stability and flexibility.

What's more, all systems are very easy to maintain and component replacement is easy
as well without affecting stability. Reflector posts can be inserted and removed extremely
rapidly, and a plastic clip in the traffic sign base makes it extremely easy to install and
remove signs using a tire iron. An ideal combination of safety and efficiency.

Always a fit:
Clips of several sizes
A perfect hold: The plastic clips come in various sizes
Clamp ring to fit all regular tube post diameters.
A clamp ring keeps the traffic sign
holder affixed and
prevents it from turning.

Precise alignment:
Conical bottom
A conical bottom ensures that the
traffic sign holder is centered.

Nice and dry:

Drainage hole
A drainage hole ensures that water
For use with large signs and as a foundation
does not accumulate. on sloping terrain.

Sustainable innovation.

Benefits:

• Stable, non-turnable bases

• For reflector posts with and without snow rod
• No reflector post and traffic sign tilting
• Reflector posts and traffic signs replaceable
at any time

• Mechanically movable (reflector post bases only)

Protected surface:
No grass growth
A large surface (38 cm diameter)
effectively prevents growth of
grass and weeds.

Snug fit: Insertion

opening with clamp bar
The design ensures that reflector
posts are exactly affixed.

Cleaner:
Domed, convex surface
A domed design is favorable
for keeping off dirt.

Easily done: special form

The material is so stable that less material can
be used for lighter weight, and the design also
makes handling and installing easier.

Stable connection: Profiling

Special profiling ensures stable anchoring
